Opinel No.08 Raw Ebauche Maple Wood Handle

I bought this raw handle to carve my own design. The wood is soft enough to work with but solid, and the blade is the classic Opinel quality. I stained it and added a personalized touch. It turned out great! At this price, it's a bargain.

The knife itself is good, but the handle is indeed raw and needs work. If you're into DIY, this is fun. I sanded it, applied oil, and it looks beautiful. Took a bit of effort, but worth it. Just don't expect a finished product.
