Opinel My First No.07 Folding Knife with Sheath – Safe Rounded Blade for Kids

My 6-year-old loves this knife. The rounded tip gives me peace of mind, and the lock keeps it safe when not in use. He learned how to open and close it quickly. The sheath is a nice bonus.

Bought this for my grandson's birthday. The blade is fairly sharp for a child's knife, but with supervision it's fine. He enjoys using it for whittling. I'd recommend it for older kids (7+).

The knife is not as sharp as I expected. My son couldn't cut a rope with it. I had to sharpen it myself, which is not what you want from a new knife. The safety features are good, but I'd expect a decent edge.
